What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device when you visit. Some are essential to make a site work or to remember a choice. Others, such as analytics cookies, measure how a site is used. Similar technologies, such as browser storage, work in the same way and are covered by the same rules. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some sites may then work less well.
Essential storage is used only to remember your cookie choice. Everything else is off unless you accept it. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| consent-choice | Remembers your cookie choice (browser storage) | Until you clear it | Essential |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics: counts visits and pages viewed | Up to 2 years | Analytics, only if accepted |
| YouTube | Set by YouTube (Google) if you enable the player in the video pace analyser | Set by YouTube | Third party, only if you enable it |
The video pace analyser sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser’s storage. Your results exist only in your open browser tab until you close it or download them to your own device. We do not receive, store or keep them.
Links to Amazon open Amazon’s website, which sets its own cookies under its own policy.
